Best use: Multiple games, image editing, rendering and other uses.

The CyberPower Gamer PC Supreme is an excellent pre-built today in terms of performance. There are many good things about it, but we’re sure it won’t let you down if you plan on running the heaviest applications on your PC. However, there is no USB Type-C port or the latest Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity that other desktops at the same price as this one could offer, and that is a major downside we found with this desktop.

Design and construction

While better known names like Aurora or ROG Strix have used an unusual case design for their desktops, CyberPower has decided to stick to the basics with this gaming PC, and as such it looks as normal as most gaming desktops.

But it’s anything but boring, and things like the RGB and the glass panel on the side make it interesting. Learn more about the most popular desktop brands.

This glass panel shows what’s inside and gives you easy access to parts you don’t need tools for.

They’re all standard, so finding an upgrade or replacement for one of the major components shouldn’t be a problem.

The case itself is quite large, too large if you ask me, but that means there is plenty of room for future expansions and upgrades.

This eliminates the space issue and is the right size for a gaming desktop if you ask me, but it definitely takes it off the list of super compact gaming PCs.

But there are other positive aspects of the large case, such as airflow, which this desktop computer has in abundance. Moreover, you can add additional fans if the cooling is not sufficient.

The build quality isn’t exceptional, but considering the price of these desktops, that’s not too bad. The cable inside is also clean.

Looking at the specs of the computer, this CyberPower gaming PC is one of the best on all fronts, be it CPU, GPU or RAM.

The specifications are designed to make the user satisfied with the performance, there is no doubt about that.

The Ryzen 7 3800X processor itself, for example, is one of the best currently available, and not just for one or two tasks.

8 cores, high clock speed, and it can be used for many things, both single- and multi-threaded, whether gaming or rendering.

Then there’s the Radeon 5700 XT graphics card, which lags behind NVIDIA’s RTX when it comes to ray tracing, although the 8GB of VRAM can help with more challenging graphics tasks.

The RAM is 16GB and can be easily upgraded. In this way, you can improve the configuration of your computer and make it future-proof.

The desktop can handle most games at 60+ frames per second with the highest settings at 1440p and is a beast for 2D or 3D rendering, video editing and other common forms of performance.

This is due to the large number of cores with which the processor is equipped and the high frequency of these cores.

While we can’t be sure of the brand, in this case you are getting a B550 motherboard, which means you are probably getting PCIe 4.0, which on some hardware means better throughput.

With a spacious interior that provides ample airflow and a liquid cooling unit on top of the processor, adequate cooling is provided on the desktop. Therefore, there is no chance of thermal throttling.

Windows 10 Home is installed on the desktop, and it’s a clean version, free of bloat and such.

Memory and RAM

The available storage on this desktop is 1TB, which is available on a PCIe SSD. It works well, and you should notice a quick system response to almost everything you do.

If you need more memory, a SATA and PCIe slot are available.

The RAM is 16 GB, as mentioned above, but only two of the four available slots are occupied. This means you can easily expand your memory up to 128 GB if needed.

Ports and connections

This CyberPower desktop computer has all the ports you need for everyday use, but it’s missing a few things, like the ability to… B. No USB Type-C port.

You will find 6 ÚSB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 ports. Among the USB 3 ports, there are two on the front, as well as a microphone and a headphone jack.

On the back, in addition to the rest of the USB ports, you’ll also find an Ethernet port, legacy ports, audio outputs, and an audio combo connector.

HDMI and DisplayPorts allow you to add more displays to your setup, and given the specs, the computer is capable of high resolution as well.

There is also built-in WIFI and Bluetooth, but not the latter.

Additional functions

The CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme comes with a keyboard and mouse that are not as good as specific gaming peripherals, but they are sufficient for basic use.

It supports VR and is optimized for use with virtual reality devices such as the HTC VIVE and Oculus Rift, the manufacturer said.

The desktop computer supports 7.1 audio output, so it performs well in this area as well.

The fans have RGB lighting that can be controlled through the BIOS. However, it has no preinstalled lighting control software.

It comes with a one-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.

What do users think of the CyberpowerPC Gamer Supreme SLC8260A3?

Users looking for superior gaming and high performance for other heavy tasks will be happy with the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme SLC8260A3.

Not only because of the attractive equipment, but also because of the basic performance and the good price, which convinced them.

The desktop computer, with its simple design, proved to be very user-friendly. It involves upgrades, maintenance, and everything else that comes with a pretty big chassis.

So there was no lack of internal space and users could easily replace everything with a larger model.

In addition, all parts are standard, so replacing or upgrading them was not a problem.

In terms of performance, users were very pleased, as the desktop could handle just about anything they wanted with its specifications, and it’s worth noting that these were mostly heavy instances.

For example, competitive games, video editing, etc. In addition, they did not notice any major heating or noise problems, even when the computer was constantly under heavy load.

Those who needed cooling installed another fan in the designated slot in the cabinet.

So overall, it turned out to be a good desktop computer, but not without flaws. Some people had problems fitting a 3.5 hard drive into the enclosure, although there is a slot for it.

In addition, some material problems were also identified, such as. B. Faulty fans on the GPU, bad cable connections, etc.

These were not incorrigible types, but users who were not very familiar with the computer equipment experienced some inconvenience.

There have also been complaints about customer service.

Other expert advice

The experts at TechBurns say that the CyberPower PC Gamer Supreme SLC8260A3 is a great desktop computer, considering the specifications it offers in this price range. The design and construction of the case are also good, and everything from the finish to the price is very competitive. But it’s incomplete in the sense that it doesn’t have USB Type-C or Thunderbolt ports.

Our colleagues at DigitWeek like these desktops because CyberPower has put heavy components into a chassis large enough to allow for future upgrades. They believe that with this configuration it can easily compete with even more expensive systems. This makes it suitable for gamers and performance enthusiasts alike, and at a reasonable price.
