Apple recently confirmed that iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 will be available to the public later this month. And with the release of iOS 14.5 Beta 7 and iPadOS 14.5 Beta 7, the update is another step closer to the official release. Yes, we have to be patient for a while as Apple continues to surprise us with beta updates. iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 will be major updates after iOS 14 and iPadOS 14.5 respectively. Click here to learn more about the updates to iOS 14.5 beta 7 and iPadOS 14.5 beta 7.
iOS 14.5 beta 7 and iPadOS 14.5 beta 7 are available to developers and public beta testers. And if you are a beta tester, you can get the latest updates. Since this is a regular update, you will find some bug fixes and some changes. We hope to see the RC version of iOS 14.5 in a week, but we can’t be sure by looking at Apple’s beta releases.
Apple has also released watchOS 7.4 beta 7, tvOS 14.5 beta 7, as well as iOS 14.5 beta 7 and iPadOS 14.5 beta 7. The updates for iOS 14.5 beta 7 and iPadOS 14.5 beta 7 come with version 18E5198a. Officially the update only mentions bug fixes.
The upgrade does not include a modem upgrade. This means that if you are experiencing connectivity issues, it is unlikely that you will be able to resolve them with this update. There aren’t many new changes, but Apple did release Find My Network, which is available for iOS 14.3 and above. When you open the Find My App application, the new network option appears.
Since the update does not come with new updates, we can assume that this is the last update. This means that everyone will soon be able to try out the new features with the public version of iOS 14.5.

Both iOS 14.5 beta 7 and iPadOS 14.5 beta 7 are available to developers and public beta testers. The update was released first to developers and then, an hour or two later, to public beta testers. The update is available for all iPhones and iPads running iOS 14.5 Beta, as is iOS 14.5 Beta 6. You can manually check for updates by going to Settings > Software update.
However, if you are working with a public version and want to try the latest beta, you must install the beta profile. There are other methods that use IPSW, but the beta profile method is simple. If you don’t know how to get a beta profile, you can follow the steps below.
Install iOS 14.5 Beta Profile and iPadOS 14.5 Beta Profile
- Go to the website of Apple’s beta program.
- Then scroll down and click Sign in if you have an Apple ID.
- On the next page, select the operating system that matches your devices, for example B. iOS 14 or iPadOS 14.
- Scroll down until it starts and press the Enroll your iOS device button.
- Now you need to install the profile on the next page. To do so, click on Upload Profile.
- Restart the device after installing the profile. And you’re ready to install iOS 14.5 Beta 7 on your iPhone.
