If someone is an artist, you usually know that pretty quickly. That passion burns brightly and often becomes a way of life.

From the kind of clothes an artist wears to the way he decorates his home, it is clear that he has creativity and spends his time expressing it.

Fortunately, there are many ways to immerse yourself in this lifestyle in The Sims 4.

Painting is already one of the most popular hobbies among simmers. It’s pretty cool when your Sim can decorate his own home with aesthetically pleasing paintings – and earn a nice sum of money doing so.

Custom content and mods have expanded this small part of the game and what it means to be an art simulator. So let’s see what’s out there!

1. Artists Paradise Bedding

While The Sims 4 shines with the creativity of its Sims, the design of their living spaces leaves much to be desired to match that energy.

In The Sims 3, there were many decorative items for artists.

Luckily for us, this CC creator has converted these items into CC for The Sims 4!

Fill your simulation’s art room with paints, brushes and canvases and it will look good in no time.

Technically, all they need is an easel and a good attitude to start painting, but anyone would love to have a space dedicated to their hobby.

Or work, in this case.

Sims can live off their art, so it makes sense that they have everything they need to do so.

2. Watercolour set

Here we have more decorative art, this time focusing on watercolor.

Most of us experienced it as children, but those soft, soothing splashes of color never get boring.

If you have a Sim who agrees, then these paints, bowls and brushes will definitely be a worthy addition to their home.

There is also a sample of the wall color that is almost a work of art in itself.

Of course, it’s not really a photo.

But you have to admit that even a few splashes of color are a big improvement for many homes.

3. Works of art

Well, more chaos in the arts!

It’s a pretty simple little kit that gives us more options for canvas and art supplies.

A stack of brushes, crayons, glue and a drawing board would make a great decoration for any Sims table or desk.

I really appreciate those things too.

The rugs are §27, and the utensils and other things are §25. It’s in simoleons, not dollars.

Anyone who has ever been interested in real art knows that the real cost is much higher.

I guess that makes sense. If Sim can draw for a week and make something worth thousands of dollars, why not make the material cheaper?

4. Artist Total

I want the appearance of my Sims to reflect who they are and what they like.

This is an added bonus if the result is really soft.

Of course, that wouldn’t be a problem because it’s paint splatters in the coveralls. ….

Long pants! The most practical and cute clothes ever made, in my opinion.

Here are twenty styles that combine different color accents with different shades of denim. So your Sim can look like an artist and be beautiful at the same time.

5. Standard gum images replaced by

Looking at the same photos for generations can definitely get boring.

Fortunately, with this mod from DaisyTighfield, you can give your Sim’s photos a new look over the years.

There are replacements for all sizes, categories and moods. Your Sim paints beautiful paintings that earn you lots of Simoleons and can be used to decorate any home.

There are truly amazing paintings in a variety of styles, from realism to pop art.

The new surrealist paintings are in fact even more surrealistic than the originals. By definition, they should be funny. And the haunting, sinister images in this CC set are just right.

But whatever your style, you’re sure to find images here that are perfect for your Sims and their home.

6. Art Studio

With this CC set from Soloria, you can create a full-fledged art studio.

You can use a lot more space than you used to, whether it’s mugs with wall brushes, decorative sketches, or more material to put on tables.

The tables themselves are included, so you never have to worry about your CC refusing to go where you want.

Floor paintings with picturesque scenes from nature or realistic sketches are also great.

Haha, you see? Picturesque? And the autumn trees, they are beautiful!

I’m sorry, I’ll stop being a nerd.

The beauty of these floor murals is that there are only two types of people who will do floor painting: Artists or people who are at the heart of the movement.

So, I think they’re going to expand the art studio in a big way.

7. Packaging for young artists

Most artists started quite young.

You can become a world-class artist by using Elmer’s glue to make finger paints, popsicle sticks and brush strokes.

With this package, your little creative Sim’s room will surely reflect his personality.

Those simple layers of paint on many basic toys gave them a splash of color, because we all know that once you give your child paint, a room doesn’t stay spotless for long.

Many of the pieces of furniture in this pack have been given new colourful pieces thanks to the children’s artists who own them, including the desk, coffee table, lamps and even the bed!

Dude, I get that there is paint on the table you use, or even on the floor, but on the bed? I really hope this sim’s parents don’t have the Cool trait.

8. Coroner’s Officer Career

Not all artists express themselves with paper or canvas.

Some transform the human body into works of art.

And with this mod, your sim can make it a career.

Tattooist Branch has several stages your Sim can go through, from the person in the shop you’d never let near an ink gun to a world-famous tattooist.

With tattoos being more popular than ever, I think this career path is really great. It’s just a shame that you can’t see them working like in The Sims 3.

The days when you could combine a salon and a tattoo shop and give everyone in the world a new look…..

And the second branch of this fashion, body piercing, is equally complex and dense.

Piercings may not be as common as tattoos (yet), but piercings really are art!

9. Clamp reel

For the artist, the easel is the starting point for artistic creation.

The irony is that they’re usually pretty boring to watch, right?

Well, that’s no longer true, thanks to the bait. This tinker added 31 color options and called this creation EZ Easel.

Isn’t that the most brilliant pun you’ve ever seen?

In fact, all the colors of the rainbow are now available to you. I especially like the bright pink.

10. Jeans with spray paint

At some point, the clothes you use to draw can move and become cool again.

Add just enough splashes and your jeans will look like new again.

Too bad the same can’t be said for gardening clothes…..

Well, these pants are two in one. They show your Sim has a passion for art and are an elegant new CAS item at the same time.

As with the aforementioned combination, there are different shades of denim, with color accents ranging from pastels to black and white.
